Hear ye, hear ye!
Our wagon masters M.D. & Terri Gentry, and their compatriots Ted & Joyce Van Tuyls, Tom & Jeannie Compter, and Nan & Bill Davies are looking forward to hosting an extra special celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, as well as Route 66’s Centennial.
Here are some of the fun activities you have to look forward to:
Thursday
– Following dinner: Game Night! Bring your favorite game(s) and have some fun!
Friday
– Following breakfast: Special Meeting to vote on revisions to Bylaws and the Chapter Rules.
– 1PM: Excursion to see the new wing of the Stafford Museum, along with the rest of the museum, of course.
– Following dinner: Game Night! Time for a rematch!
Saturday
– 10AM: Outing to Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton, OK.
– 2PM: Presentation by Brenda Dally of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
- Following dinner: Trivia Night. Test your knowledge on Route 66 and the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation.
Sunday
– Following breakfast: Devotional led by Bill Davies.
We have some delicious All-American and Revolutionary-themed food in store for you as well, including Prairie Hen, Shepherd’s Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy. Don’t forget that Thursday Dinner is a Pot Luck, so bring your favorite dish to share!
